NNPC Limited has addressed the petrol scarcity issue affecting Lagos and its surroundings. According to the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the problem stemmed from issues at a depot in the area, which NNPC Retail Limited has now resolved. Normalcy is expected to return soon.

Soneye urged Lagos motorists not to engage in panic buying, assuring them of NNPC’s commitment to maintaining a steady supply of petroleum products. He emphasized the company’s efforts to prevent inconvenience to consumers and stated that gasoline was actively being lifted at various depots, with filling stations operating normally.
