According to multiple video reports on social media, some members of staff are still stuck inside the building.
In one of the videos, a popular presenter at the station, Morayo Brown and another presenter were having a programme, Your View, when they were informed that the building is under attack.
They hurriedly ended the show and the TV channel screen went blank with noise in the background.
Morayo Brown subsequently went on Instagram live to stream the happenings, saying that the hoodlums have gained entrance inside the studio and they are trying to take cover.
